Singing Opportunities in "Alice in Wonderland" Production
In need of males and females for the "Alice in Wonderland" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: As the play begins, Alice slides into view at the end of her long fall down the rabbit hole. It is a more delightful place for the audience than for Alice, who is trying desperately to get back home. She tries to get help from the Mad Hatter, the Rabbit, the very nice Cheshire Cat, and many other familiar characters. Additional info: For your audition, please prepare a 30-to-60-second monologue or something else of similar length that you feel highlights your abilities, especially as it pertains to this strange but delightful classic. As this show can be physically demanding, please also prepare to demonstrate any physical movements you feel are interesting/unique. For instance: juggling, a dance move such as a turn or leap, a gymnastics ability such as a split, jump, or tumble/stunt. There MAY also be cold readings, not everyone will be asked to read at auditions. Auditions/Callbacks will also consist of cold readings and improv activities, please come dressed appropriately in clothing and footwear so you can easily and freely move in. If necessary callbacks will be held on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 starting at 6:30 pm, please plan to be available. Please note, not being called back does not necessarily mean you will not be cast in the show. The cast will be notified by Friday, January 10th, 2025. Note that the fee will be involved.
