Short Film "XOLA" Seeks Southern African Cast
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for Southern African actors or people for a short film "XOLA". More details are below. Rate: Paid. Additional infprmation: Shooting in Toronto. Black Canadian. He is Kind and Supportive, he loves her but gives her space.
Principal Role. She is shy but headstrong. She is visiting her Aunt after a long separation and she comes with a lot of unanswered questions.
Principal Role. MUST speak a Nguni language (preferably Zulu or siSwati). She considers herself very modern compared to the rest of her family, but she shares most of the same views. She has no children of her own and she shared a special bond with her niece, providing a sense of comfort and fun until their relationship turned sour. She is unsure where she stands with her, but she’s sure she’s done nothing wrong.
MUST speak a Nguni language (preferably Zulu or siSwati). Fierce, strict, traditional and uncompromising. She loves her sister and her daughter but is weighed down by her responsibilities both as the eldest daughter and as a single mother.
