About the project: Logline: The past catches up to the untouchable mayor of a border town when he agrees to a card game with a mysterious newcomer. Synopsis: A miscreant new mayor thinks he's getting one over on a native lawman in a card game. Revelations of evil deeds are revealed by the seemingly omnipresent challenger. The game then dissolves from a friendly exchange into an exposure of the mayor's record as his dreams come crashing down around him. Genre: Western. A charlatan whose fancy suits seem to never fit exactly right. He's excitable; a man who finds himself to be the smartest in any room he's in, but the rooms seem to never be bigger than a jail cell. He's been down on his luck until he mysteriously came to power. Thin white male. Slicked back brown hair.
Salt-of-the-earth despite noble bearings. He's roamed the land day and night hunting his granddaughter's murderer for too long. Any race/build accepted.
Cold, logical, and mistrustful of The Drifter. He seems to find himself within the company of Reason and Manic more than he'd like. Any race/build accepted.
Level-headed, and open-minded. He enjoys quelling Doubt's often worrisome insights. A warmer presence. Any race/build accepted.
A flighty yet possibly prophetic soul. Looks to the future and may open doors for those who aren't welcome. Often doesn't consider Doubt or Reason's positions when speaking. Any race/build accepted.
