About the project: Genre: Music Video/Dark Drama Logline: Charlotte is a young woman struggling with the emotional toll of modern social media culture. She is dynamic yet vulnerable, with the ability to portray a wide range of emotions—from despair and anger to fleeting moments of hope and joy. Rate: $500 for Charlotte (2.5 days), $200 for Emma (2 half days). Additional info: Production Type: Indie Run Time: Short Union Status: Non-union Shooting Schedule: One short flexible shoot day must happen no later than December 18th with Charlotte and Emma. The remaining shoot days would preferably be filmed December 21st and 23rd but can be pushed back to after the holidays as long as the first shoot day is done in time. Directors will send a copy of the script and more specific audition instructions if your reel does not have examples within the genre.

(Lead). Charlotte is a young woman struggling with the emotional toll of modern social media culture. Requirements: Strong acting ability to convey deep, non-verbal emotions. Comfortable portraying intense scenes, including moments of emotional breakdown and transformation. Experience with physical expressions of distress (e.g., crying, anger, frustration) is a plus. No nudity required, but must be comfortable with suggestive scenes in a tasteful, story-driven context.
(Supporting). Emma is Charlotte's best friend and anchor, offering compassion and support as Charlotte battles the pressures of social media fame. She is empathetic, grounded, and represents the human connection Charlotte is losing touch with. Requirements: Ability to portray warmth, concern, and subtle frustration as Emma tries to help Charlotte while being pushed away. Strong chemistry with the lead character is crucial.
