About the project: Once on This Island is a captivating and joyous Caribbean-infused musical, based on the novel My Love, My Love by Rosa Guy. It tells the story of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl who embarks on a journey guided by the island's gods to find her place in the world and reunite with the young man who has captured her heart. This magical tale of love, loss, and community celebrates storytelling, resilience, and the power of the human spirit. Demon of Death. Alto or baritone with a commanding stage presence.
God of Water. Baritone/tenor with a booming voice and magnetic energy.
