ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking a male actor for production of "Dinner". More details are below. About the project: After a child named Gwen reveals her knowledge of damaging gossip about her aunt, a family dinner spirals into chaos. Genres: Dark comedy. Drama. Rate: Union (TBC). This production is an ultra-low budget short film and is on a volunteer basis. Directors will be providing meals, snacks, beverages, as well as footage for your demo reel. Additional information: Audition Location Virtual. Shoot/Performance Date(s) January 18th & 19th. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Vancouver, BC. All scenes will be filmed indoors at a single location. Gordon is a husband (to Judith), brother (to Les), father of two adults (Andrea & Tommy), and grandfather to two girls (Gwen and Sue). Gordon is a blue-collar man, still working a trade. He's biased towards favouring his eldest (Andrea). When the secrets begin spilling out during a family feud, Gordon mistakes this as a safe space to vent his sexual frustrations about his wife--who is sitting right next to him.
