An insecure and meek young woman who is questioned, as a suspect by Goliath about the tragic fire set in the community. She has the audience's sympathy until she reveals more sinister thoughts and beliefs. She recounts her perspective, adding descriptions of abstract visions that are only visible to her, painting a portrait of doom. She persuades Goliath to side with her beliefs, affected by the 'visions' interpreted as prophecies and lessons.
A young man who's a familiar face and trusted within the community aims to seek the truth and what is best for the place he calls home. He starts with a confidence that he will find the solution to the community's disaster (the fire), however, this confidence falters when Cassandra's visions and reasoning start revealing his insecurities. He eventually gives in, taking Cassandra's side, but it takes more than visions to convince him.
