My story is about a father and a daughter: Wang Zhiqiang, the father from China, and ——Ella, the daughter who grew up in the United States, have hardly seen each other in ten years. Because Ella wanted to transfer, Wang Zhiqiang came to the United States to attend the interview instead of Ella's mother who was away on business. But Wang Zhiqiang can't speak fluent English, and Ella can't understand Chinese. The language barrier and strong cultural conflict make them sit face to face, but they are more like strangers.

50-year-old, grew up in China, with good family conditions. More optimistic and outgoing. Junior high school education level, currently doing some business in China. When I was in my twenties, I accidentally met and married a Chinese-American. Shortly after giving birth to my daughter, the couple broke up and divorced. I lived with my wife in the United States for some time in the early years, and returned to China soon after divorce for various reasons.
15 years old, female. I am going to high school soon. Because of the growing environment, I am introverted and slow-heating, and I don't like to communicate with people. I lived and grew up in America with my mother since childhood, and I can't speak Chinese. The girl who happens to be in adolescence is a little rebellious. This is the first time that she has been in contact with her father for a long time.
