Storyteller. Wise and willing to play with the audience.
8 year old girl with a heart of gold. She seems to understand what the animals are saying.
Fern’s father. Strong and a provider. Level headed.
Fern’s 10 year old brother. Feisty, loves games and adventures.
Fern’s uncle, a hard worker who loves his family and his farm.
Zuckerman’s hired hand. Strong and agile. Maybe a little superstitious. Will be running around the stage.
A pig. Active and curious runt of the litter. Should be agile and humorous.
A spider. Motherly figure of the barnyard. She is Wilbur's friend. This role will include dancing.
A Rat. The mischievous gangster of the barnyard. A role to have fun with.
A fast talking duo that is both encouraging and fun loving.
Friends with Goose.
Older: An old soul who tells it like it is.
