About the project: This brassy, bold musical comedy follows the hapless but unflappable Charity Hope Valentine in her search for love, friendship, and the chance to make it big in The Big Apple. With music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and a book by Neil Simon, this Tony Award-nominated, dance-infused musical captures all the humor and heartbreak of life in 1960s New York City.
