Casting call for horror comedy production. Please see the roles below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Short Film Logline: Within the confines of a haunted, psychedelic restaurant, an American Standard toilet and a caring foster mother exact deranged revenge on abusive co-workers. Rate: Non-union, unpaid. Additional info: Location: Greater Cleveland, OH; Production Window: Jan-Mar 2025. The cast will be expected to be on set for three (3) hours on the day of the shoot. In addition to performance duties, the cast will be expected to participate in one (1) recorded interview. Short film cast members will be STRONGLY considered for the feature production of the award-winning screenplay. Lead/Supporting Betty is a humble, caring, young woman who works as a waitress in a restaurant in order to raise funds for the care of her intellectually-compromised foster son. Betty is well-liked by everyone she meets. During a simulated rape-scene (no nudity or explicit images), Betty is consumed by an evil spirit which transforms her into a rather violent and scary version of herself.
Lead/Supporting Carrington and Frasier are two privileged, Ivy League-type university students who work at the restaurant due to a temporary trust fund cash-flow problem. Selfish, narcissistic, and obnoxious, both Carrington and Frasier experience rather creatively violent deaths.

Lead/Supporting (West Indian/UK Male). Kingston is a hard-nosed (with a secret soft-heart for kids), serial entrepreneur who is not above doing whatever is necessary to keep the restaurant afloat and ensure the staff are professional and equitably rewarded.
Lead/Supporting A Rod Sterling clone, though the preferred actor would add a bit of their own style to the role.
