"Play On" Audition for the Theater

Southington, CT, United States
ID: 274008Exp: 12/2/2024
Description:

Looking to cast male and female talent for the "Play On" theatre show. Please see the details below. About the project: This is the hilarious story of a theatre group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance, in which anything that can go wrong, does. When the author decides to give a speech on the state of modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax and a thoroughly hilarious romp. Even the sound effects reap their share of laughter. Additional info: Rehearsal Schedule Information: Rehearsals are scheduled for 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. They may run later the week the show opens. Some Tuesdays may be added in February if needed. Read Through: Wednesday, December 4 Rehearsals begin Sunday, January 5. Not every person may be called to every rehearsal and/or for the full duration of each rehearsal; the time commitment depends on the size of the role.
