Theatre Casting Call for "The Book of Will"
Audition for "The Book of Will" Play. Seeking performers. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Will Shakespeare is dead. But his plays? Scattered to the four winds, and his friends are determined to save them, preserving the words that shaped their lives. They’ll just have to borrow, beg, and band together to get it done! Told with a skillful mixture of familiar Shakespeare lines and contemporary language, Lauren Gunderson’s The Book of Will tells the (mostly) true story of how we almost lost nearly half of Shakespeare’s plays. An unforgettable story of love, loss, and laughter, that sheds new light on a man you may think you know. Additional info: Show Dates: March 7 - 16, 2024. Auditions in December with rehearsals beginning after the first of the year. If interested, please apply.
