Looking to cast female talent for "Gabe's Sister" Film. Please see the details below. ONLY NY, NJ, AND LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A short film about siblinghood, a younger sister who thinks the world of her older brother, and the roles we are expected to swallow. This is a low-budget personal passion project for my friend and I! Rate: $300 flat rate, 2 days. Meals will, of course, be provided. Supporting. Sunday church is her sacred time. She values her church community and wants to keep up the image of a dutiful mother and widow. She believes in traditional gender roles like the Bible states—this is no fault of hers though, it’s just the world she was raised in. She’s struggling to keep the family together, but carries on with a positive, can-do attitude.
