"H.O.A. Gangster" Upcoming Movie Audition
Holding virtual auditions for the 5th feature film "H.O.A. Gangster". Looking for men and women. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Synopsis: Joanna, after receiving a heart transplant, starts to take on the characteristics of the donor, resulting in an entanglement with her HOA leadership. Additional info: Filming dates are TBD but will start in December 2024, working with people's schedules. The movie has seasonal changes so there will be filming dates scattered over the next 6 months. There are 16 Full shoot days and 4 half days. Deferred day rates for now, as well as meals and IMDB. Teams do have distribution for this production, so are hopeful. A PG 13 - R Comedy. Adult themes. See the document attached for the sides. Supporting - Married to Joanna, is working at an interior design supply chain. He is the head of the home, and father to Lumpy and Taunya.
Supporting- Shannon is the VP of the HOA, friend to Joanna, and avid book club attendee. She is a strong woman, able to put her foot down and stop trouble, or be able to physically be intimidating to the right person to stop any shenanigans.
Supporting - A former beauty queen and pageant delight. Carol is part of the book club, probably for the social aspect. She ends up secretly sleeping with Bill, Robin’s naughty boy temptation. Carol gets a lot of what she wants because she’s beautiful. She has what may be referred to as pretty-privilege.
Supporting - Touch of Desperate housewives, Robin is a bit in heat and on the prowl when she's away from the nest. Its playtime for her. Robin is out for some thrills, but doesn’t really mean it. She used to be the hot one, but can be out done by the younger ladies. Still is mature and always brings the wine. Robin attends book club, but barely cracks the books. She's there for the social aspect of it all.
Supporting - Bill is a tall, strapping man, pretty enough to be accepted into any predominantly female group. Bill plays basketball, and is a sensitive reader. He secretly dates Carol, after attending the book club for a while.
Supporting- Working class guy whos honest and good hearted as they come. Has somehow become a target of the HOA. Neighbor to Joanna and Seth.
Featured day player- Kind of a skater at heart. Husband to Trina who is pregnant after a lot of medical help. They visit Joanna and Seth to say thank you for their charity during their fertility treatments.
Featured day player - Super nice and pure christian gal. She is a concert pianist who plays for Joanna during a visit with Kyle. Must be able to play piano well.
Featured day player- Attractive and kind of eccentric heart surgeon.
Featured day player - Secret agent of the HOA. A snoopy neighbor. (please just submit headshot, resume, and any link to any work you've done. There are no sides for this.)
