About the project: This drama is the true story of a solidly middle-class family innocently caught up in an international spy scandal during the Cold War. Is anyone as they seem? Can you ever trust your neighbors again? Themes of friendship, lies, betrayal, allegiance, authority, and loyalty. Additional info: Show Dates: February 14-16 and 21-23, 2025 Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

English accent. Lead. Husband to Barbara Jackson. Bob is overly concerned about doing the right thing and respects authority.
English accent. Lead. Wife to Bob Jackson. Fragile. Nervous. Not at all the social butterfly her friend, Helen is, but beginning to come out of her shell because of her friendship with Helen.
American. Lead. Loud, brash, but great fun to be around. Befriended Helen; loved Julie.
American. Supporting. Quiet, bookish and in his wife’s shadow.
English Accent. Lead. A Columbo type – not the most sophisticated, but knows his job and knows it well. He’s an investigator. Even if we knew his first name, we only know him as Stewart or Mr. Stewart.
One of the female assistants to Stewart. English accent. She is a tough cookie, but softens around Barbara Jackson.
Another female assistant to Stewart. English accent. Thelma’s work relief partner. This part is small but vital to the flow of the script.
