ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors to play roles in "The River Will Carry Us" film. More details are below. About the project: Struggling with the loss of her unborn child, an agoraphobic woman embarks on a cathartic journey along Canada’s East Coast to find her missing pregnant caregiver. Rate: Non union. Paid. Additional information: Location: Toronto. Outside GTA (TBC). Deadline for submission: NOVEMBER 15, 2024. Filming Dates: MARCH 2025 - APRIL 2025 (TBC). Professional and trained actors are preferred due to the complexity of the roles. However, non-professional actors who meet the character requirements are also encouraged to apply. Due to funding, preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents. This film tells a story that reflects the Iranian-Canadian experience, and we encourage individuals from that community to participate. Audition dates and details will be emailed to selected candidates. When applying, please submit your CV, head shots, samples, and a 1-3 minute introduction video.
