Acting Audition in "Murphy's Law" Film

Murphy is a nervous but hardworking student who cares a lot about his grades, that's why as comical misfortune tries to keep him from his exam, he grows increasingly distressed, eventually becoming a nervous wreck. For this role, we are looking for anyone that has good facial expressions, capable of showing a range of emotions from tired to frantic.

The Professor is the strict instructor that teaches Murphy's class, but still holds compassion for his students; enough to hear Murphy out on why he missed his final. In the film, he continuously questions whether Murphy's story is believable enough for him to get a chance to retake the exam. For this role we are looking for someone capable of putting on both a stern front but also able to show humor in their disbelief.

The Man in Red is the clumsy but cheery teaching assistant of Murphy's class and oblivious to the fact that he is directly responsible for all of Murphy's misfortune. In the film, he'll appear in all the same locations as Murphy from beginning to end, causing different kinds of accidents. He is the unintentional cause for chaos throughout the film, and sets up every unspoken punchline.

Santa is just a regular person in a Santa costume, he looks very out of place much to the confusion of Murphy and the Professor, even though the film will be set near the Christmas holidays, The film will keep Santa ambiguous whether he is just someone created in Murphy's head, or perhaps an actor hired by the school who was just roaming around, it can be up to the actors whether they would like lean into this idea. For this role, we are looking for actors of any experiences, none included.
