About the project: "Assorted Heroes: Road Trip" is a film about a group of superheroes growing as individuals as they save the multiverse together. While being a "multiversal" event, the film is a very grounded situational comedy with satirical critiques on (mainly) patriarchy. The film follows four heroes as they meet a new batch off superheroes from different corners of the multiverse who make them think deeper about who they are. They also kick some ass together and save the multiverse, but that's not as important. Rate: Non union. This is a non-paying volunteer project. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION Online. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) A Sunday sometime around the end of November. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S) Vancouver, BC. SUBMISSION DEADLINE November 15, 2024. This specific scene follows a superhero named Hikari (Lightning Blade) as he finds himself in the land of the Japanese gods. He has a talk with Raiju, the thunder beast, who possesses Hikari and is the source of his lightning abilities. Raiju is a comedic, fourth-wall-breaking character who is essentially the most "modern-acting" of the gods in our adaptation. Raiju is open to any gender, race, and etc.
