About the project: Company's inaugural performance reimagines American Idiot with a garage-band style production. Some performers will double as musicians, playing instruments live on stage. This approach aligns with company's mission to put a unique spin on existing works, creating a raw, energetic, and intimate experience. American Idiot follows three disaffected young men, Johnny, Will, and Tunny, as they struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world. The show, based on Green Day's Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum album, features every song from the album as well as several from its follow-up release, 21st Century Breakdown. Rate: A small performance stipend is provided to all performers. Transportation from New York City to Dunellen, NJ is accessible by a 45-minute train ride. The Company is committed to diverse and inclusive casting.
