About the project: Episode: Life After 60 - Retirement and Financial Freedom This episode explores the financial journeys of people approaching or living through early retirement. You will reflect on your financial preparations, how your outlook on money has evolved, and how you are navigating the emotional and financial transition into retirement. We’ll also discuss what younger generations can learn from your experiences, providing insight into retirement planning, second marriages, and mental health during this life stage. Rate: $200 for the session + $500 for a 1-year buyout. Additional info: This episode features individuals who are approaching or in early retirement, sharing their unique financial perspectives, experiences, and advice on retirement. No acting experience is required—this series focuses on real stories from real people. Location: Ottawa, ON area. Filming Time: Each session will last no more than 4 hours. No acting experience necessary: We’re looking for real people with real stories. Background check: Will be conducted for all selected participants to ensure safety and compliance. Episode will explore various themes, such as the following examples: - Retirement Planning: What worked, what didn’t, and advice for others in their 40s and 50s. - Retirement Anxiety: Navigating the emotional and financial challenges of leaving long-time careers. - Second Marriages & Retirement: Blending finances later in life and how retirement plans shift in second marriages. - Mental Health & Money: The emotional toll of financial anxiety and how retirement impacts mental health.
