Theater is thrilled to announce auditions for special production of "It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" (Short Version). Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: This unique adaptation brings a classic holiday story to life with an ensemble cast playing multiple characters and live Foley artists creating sound effects on stage. "Set on Christmas Eve, 1946, this unique adaptation takes place in a radio studio where a small ensemble of five actors brings the story of It’s a Wonderful Life to life through a live radio broadcast. The production follows George Bailey, a man who contemplates giving up on life until Clarence, his guardian angel, shows him how different the world would be if he had never been born. This adaptation brings the classic tale to life with a minimal cast portraying over 40 characters with the aid of live Foley artists, who provide sound effects on stage."
