Isla is a sensitive but hardworking marketing strategist who is trying to find her footing after being caught in an online scandal. She faces personal and professional struggles in adapting to her new life and being doubted about her skills in the workplace. Isla’s style is business casual with a touch of luxury.

Mia is Isla’s new roommate, she’s the guiding hand that helps Isla adjust to life in a new city and provides support throughout the whole film. Mia is a corporate worker turned artist after realizing where her true passions lie. She has a playful personality but bestows a lot of wisdom on Isla when she needs it. Mia’s style is the cliche artist vibe, her playful wardrobe contrasts Isla’s business casual style. Lots of denim and bandanas.

Emma is a marketing strategist and a co-worker of Isla’s, she knows about Isla’s social scandal and believes that Isla is not qualified to work at the company. She is a typical mean girl, puts Isla down to her face and has a snobby attitude.

Diane is Isla’s boss and is the one who hired her to Buzz Media and is a little older than the other characters. She is supportive but firm with Isla and gives her a second chance when she messes up her first presentation. Diane remains a neutral party and is not aware of Emma’s hostility towards Isla. Diane’s wardrobe, similar to Isla and Emma’s, is business casual but a bit more mature due to her status and older age. Knit sweaters, cardigans and a blazer for client meetings.

The skincare clients that Isla is presenting her pitch to. During the first presentation, they are weary of Isla’s capabilities and her unpreparedness, they eventually like her second presentation. Suits.
