Singing Audition for "My Fair Lady" Musical
Audition notice for "My Fair Lady" show. Looking for vocalists/actors/dancers. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. Rate: Every eligible actor will receive a paid travel stipend at the end of the show’s run. The Theatre when needed, will offer equity guest contracts to members of the union and contracts for professional actors. Additional info: The Theatre is an Equal Opportunity Theatre, and directors encourage performers of all ethnicities to audition. Please do not disqualify yourself on the basis of type, race, or physicality. Music from the show, scenes, or choreography will be taught at the night of auditions. Some performers may be asked to attend callbacks on the same night of their audition. Vocal sides will be sent in advance of the audition date, and after directors have confirmed your appointment. Rehearsal dates: November 24th- January 16th (Break between Dec. 12th-31st) Rehearsals are generally Sunday through Thursday 6:30 pm-10:30 pm (Mandatory Tech Week: January 12th-16th) Performance Dates: January 17th- February 9th (Friday- 8:00 pm show, Saturday- 2:00 pm & 8:00 pm shows, Sunday- 2:00 pm show) NOTE: directors may add additional performances including Thursday evenings at a later date. When applying, please include your SATB vocal part, preferred date and time (Sunday, November 10th (5 pm-10 pm) or Monday, November 11th (5 pm-10 pm)), and performer headshot. In person auditions will have first consideration of casting; however, performers traveling further than 90 miles from The Theatre may send a virtual audition. If you would like to submit a Virtual Audition please include a Headshot, Theatre Resume, a Vocal Selection from the show, and Dance Reel (if applicable) by Saturday, November 9th. Please include if there are any specific roles you’d like to be considered for, if you would be willing to accept any other role, if you have any conflicts throughout the run, and if you would require housing if available.

(Male Identifying). Baritone (C3-D4). A former British officer and author. Friends with Henry Higgins and a fellow phonetics enthusiast.
(Male Identifying). Baritenor (C3-F4). A young, upper class British man who falls in love with Eliza.
(Male Identifying). Baritone (G3-E4). Eliza's boisterous and charismatic father.
(Male Identifying). Bass. A friend of Alfred P. Doolittle's.
(Male Identifying). Tenor. A friend of Alfred P. Doolittle.
(Female Identifying). Mezzo-Soprano (E4-G4). Higgin's housekeeper.
(Female Identifying). Mezzo-Soprano. Freddy's mother and a friend of Mrs. Higgins.
(Female Identifying). Ensemble Singer or Spoken Role. Henry's mother.
