Female Singing Opportunities in "Shout the Mod" Production
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of singers for musical "Shout the Mod". More details are below. About the musical: Traveling in time through the 1960's to the 1970's, SHOUT! is the mod musical magazine that chronicles the dawning of the women's liberation movement. English and American women were redefining themselves in the face of changing attitudes about gender. SHOUT! THE MOD MUSICAL captures and celebrates this period of history with beautiful birds and smashing sounds that made England swing in the 1960's, featuring such songs as "1,2,3", "Son of a Preacher man", "Diamonds are Forever" and "Downtown". Additional information: Audition & Rehearsal address: Etobicoke. Rehearsals to begin in January 2025. Rehearsal schedule starting December 9th. Sunday's from 11am -3:30pm. Monday & Wednesday's from 7-10pm. Production Dates: March 27, 28, 29, April 4, 5, 6, 2025. Audition Prep: Come with a song to show of your vocal range. A cold reading will be done.
