Acting Audition in a Horror Short Film "Drained"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of cast for a short film "Drained". More details are below. About the project: Drained Caleb and Fiona are at a breaking point in their relationship. When Fiona's depression takes her life Caleb is left to pick up the pieces, but Fiona's spirit is not ready to let him off easily. Rate: These roles willl be paid. Caleb is an upper-middle class guy in his early twenties who was born into privilege, with aspirations of becoming a famous writer/director. He has never stuck around anywhere long enough to really hone his craft. He is in between jobs, living in a home that was bought for him and picking up little. jobs here and there. He has little responsibility and perspective for how tough life can be.
Fiona is a lower-middle class lady raised without much attention, she learned to take care of herself at a young age. She is wise beyond her years, with a natural talent for artistic expression. Signs of mental illness crept in during her teens and without the necessary supports, she turned to drugs as a coping mechanism. This exacerbated her depression and psychosis, leading to an episode that landed her in a psychiatric hospital.
