About the project: Arthur, a seasoned restoration artist, must confront the most personal challenge of his career when he takes on his wife’s forgotten self-portrait as his latest project. Rate: Non-Union. Unpaid/Volunteer. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) February 8th-10th, 2025. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Vancouver. Most likely Point Grey area (to be confirmed). Submission Deadline November 22, 2024. Keep in mind that this film tackles the deterioration of a marriage and if it is possible to be restored once it gets to a certain point of estrangement. For Arthur and Terra, there will be scenes of little intimacies where they share an embrace, the caress of a cheek, potentially a kiss on the forehead or a hand around the waist, for example. There won't be scenes that are explicit or more intimate than that. It is still important to keep in mind that you have to be comfortable existing in the chemistry between two married people even though this film is set when they have already grown apart and continue further down that road.
