About the project: Santino visits his girlfriend Amanda and is shocked to find a giant, mysterious hole in the middle of her living room. Though Santino is terrified, Amanda dismisses it as unimportant, focusing instead on mundane things like making pizza. Santino’s anxiety grows as surreal events unfold around him, including a distorted hallway and shadowy figures. After a heated exchange, Amanda casually descends into the hole, leaving Santino stunned. Unable to cope, he leaves the apartment but returns days later, still drawn to the mysterious abyss. In the end, Santino surrenders to the unknown and follows Amanda into the darkness. Rate: Non-Union. 200$ CAD per day (8hrs) per actor. Santino is a serious and emotionally distant character, navigating both a strained relationship and an increasingly surreal situation. He avoids affection from his partner Amanda, signalling tension and dissatisfaction. When faced with the bizarre discovery of a giant, seemingly bottomless hole in Amanda’s apartment, Santino’s practical nature clashes with his mounting anxiety and confusion.
Amanda is a carefree and seemingly unbothered individual, who exhibits an unsettling calmness even in extreme, bizarre situations. She has a tendency to dismiss or downplay serious matters, focusing instead on trivial or mundane concerns, like making pizza or talking about gym water bottles. Her cheerful demeanor contrasts sharply with the growing tension around her, making her appear detached from reality.
