Samira is a young Indian woman living in Vancouver who has been diagnosed with Cancer. She stays in a care home so that she can receive some assistance, at least until her family reaches Vancouver. Despite her situation, she is optimistic about her future and believes that she can return to normalcy once she recovers.
An Indian mother s who lives alone in Vancouver and spends her time volunteering at BC healthcare facilities. During her volunteer visits, she forms a bond with Samira, a young woman with Cancer, often bringing her warmth and comfort through the gift of home-cooked Indian meals.
