Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent has become a pop cultural phenomenon, with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages. Additional info: Production dates: February 6-9, 2025 Tentative rehearsal dates: December 3, 2024-February 5, 2025. Auditioners are asked to prepare an approximately 60-second cut of a song from popular music or musical theatre repertoire that lends itself to the style of the show. Directors prefer not to hear songs from the show itself. Please come to your audition with a marked copy of your music in a binder for the pianist.
