About the project: Claire begins a new job at a bakery where she meets her co-worker Sarah. Claire starts to believe that Sarah and her are great friends, although Sarah is disinterested in talking to Claire. Claire becomes obsessed with Sarah and begins to imagine their relationship in dream-like episodes. Rate: Non-Union. 50$ honorarium per shoot day. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) early to mid November. Submission Deadline November 4, 2024. Sarah is a serious person. She is nice in the fake, saving-face, workplace way. She has been working in kitchens for a long time and is always tired. She would rather review schedules and shipping forms than talk to Claire.
Claire is lonely and awkward. She loves to draw, but is not very good. She gets caught up in her imagination too much and can’t communicate well. She wishes that someone would come into her life and help her live better.
