Singing Opportunities in "Next To Normal" Production

The theatre show "Next To Normal" is now looking to cast performers. Please see the details below. About the project: "Next to Normal" is a 2008 American rock musical with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt. The story centers on a mother who struggles with worsening bipolar disorder and the effects that managing her illness has on her family. This show is recommended for ages 16+ due to profanity and adult themes including child loss, grief, depression, suicide, drug abuse, and ethics in modern psychiatry. Additional info: Actors are asked to prepare a specific song(s) and side(s) from the show. Looking for actors to do more than just read their sides or sing their songs. Actors may be asked to read one or all sides associated with the character they are auditioning for. SINGING: Street Lamp will provide an accompanist for in-person auditions.
