7 roles

Understudy for Shelly LeveneMale58-62 y.o.All ethnicities

Around 60. A washed-up real estate salesman. Shelly "The Machine" Levene was successful years ago, but recently has hit a streak of "bad luck" and finds himself in danger of getting fired. He desperately wants to save his career which leads him to disaster.

Understudy for Ricky RomaMale40-44 y.o.All ethnicities

A big-shot real estate salesman. Roma is the top name on the board at his office, which means he is currently the most successful salesman. It is easy to see why he does better than the other men: he is smart, charming, and ruthless. Rather than trying to force customers to submit to his sales tactics, as the others do, he lures people into thinking they want what he is selling.

Understudy for John WilliamsonMale38-42 y.o.All ethnicities

Around 40. The long-suffering manager of the real estate office. Williamson's job is to oversee the operations of the office and to assign the salesmen their leads. The salesmen naturally dislike him because of his status as a "company man”, but Williamson is firm, fair and honest in his dealings with them.

Understudy for Dave MossMale50-59 y.o.All ethnicities

An angry real estate salesman. Moss harbors a great deal of resentment toward the company. He tends to lash out angrily when under pressure. His aggressive persistence makes him a more successful salesman than Aaronow or Levene, but he has none of Roma's people skills.

Understudy for George AaronowMale68-72 y.o.All ethnicities

Around 70. A failing real estate salesman. Aaronow is humble, the kindest of the salesmen. And the least successful. Possibly losing his grip on reality. Like Levene, Aaronow is not on the board and is in immediate danger of getting fired – which he dreads.

Understudy for James LingkMale38-42 y.o.All ethnicities

Around 40. An amiable, decent man and the target for one of Roma’s sales. He is newly married and trying to navigate married life and the business world. He becomes entranced by Roma’s pitch but then regrets acting so hastily.

BaylenMale50-65 y.o.All ethnicities

A tough police detective. He investigates the robbery at the office. He has a direct manner that puts him in conflict with the salesman even as they are wary of his investigation. Will understudy Williamson.
