About the project: Story Outline: After volunteering to be the egg donor for her now-pregnant friend, a woman grows to regret her choice in the aftermath of her own miscarriage – and considers taking back the only baby she has left. This is a film about when the promise of motherhood turns to despair. It navigates the complexities of conception and what it means to give, and to choose. Rate: Non-Union. Acting credit, expenses covered, meals provided. Additional compensation is negotiable depending on the role. Additional info: Rehearsal Dates: Weekends of 11/9, 11/16, and 11/30 Filming Dates: Wednesday 12/4, Thursday 12/5, Friday 12/6, Saturday 12/7, Sunday 12/8 Project Filming Location: Austin, TX. Additionally, for the roles of Nat, Lily, Gabe, and Aunt Sophie, the directors request you provide a self-tape reading of the designated sides (email them and directors will share them with you) and/or that you schedule a video audition with the Director/Casting Director.
