"The Heart Sellers" Play Seeking Asian or AAPI Actresses
FST is seeking submissions from Filipina/Filipina-American and Korean/Korean-American actors for upcoming production of "The Heart Sellers." About the project: "Jane and Luna run into each other in the grocery store on Thanksgiving in 1973 and discover they have much in common. Over a bottle of wine (or two) they share their hopes and fears in making a new home in a new reality." Rate: LORT Non-Rep $807 weekly minimum or higher commensurate with experience (LORT D). Dates: Rehearsals begin – November 19, 2024 Previews – December 11-12, 2024 Show opens – December 13, 2024 Show closes – February 16, 2025 Possible extension(s) through – March 2, 2025 NOTE: “On casting: These roles are to be performed by Asian or AAPI actors only.
