Actors Needed for Movie Casting

Actors sought for an action short film. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Synopsis: This experimental 70s style film tells the love story of Violet, a vampire femme fatal, and Winsome, a disco groove vampire hunter, who constantly seem to be at each other's throats. As the leaves turn from green to red, so too do the pair turn from enemies to lovers. Until one Halloween night that ends in tragedy. Rate: Unpaid, meals & copy provided. Plans to submit to festivals. Additional info: Filming in November/December (official dates TDB) with possible fight choreo rehearsals. Shot entirely on Super8 (MOS). Directors could be shooting as early as the final week of October/the first week of November. Non-Union. NOTE FOR LEAD ROLES: You do not need to be a trick skater, but you MUST be comfortable starting, stopping, turning, squatting, and shifting body weight on skates. Every scene is a fight scene. Choreography can be adjusted to talent's skill level. Stunt experience is not necessary but preferred. NOTE FOR STUNT ROLES: Hunters and Men do not need to send full resumes/headshots if they do not have them. For the Hunters, directors are simply looking for roller skaters and/or martial artists willing to do two fight scenes (one on skates, one off). For the Men, skating is not required.
