About the project: She’s a Keeper is a modern-day queer spin-off of Shakespeare’s classic play Romeo and Juliet with the goal of highlighting and representing queer identities and experiences. Our story follows Romie, a soccer player that has no idea what she wants to do after high school finding herself falling in love with a girl on her school’s rival team as they navigate obstructing love and fighting for each other. Rate: Unpaid. Includes IMDb credit, copy, meals, local transportation. Additional info: Tentative shooting dates late November/early December.
