Auditions for musical "Something Rotten". In need of actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the breakdown below. About the project: Something Rotten features large song and dance numbers, and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters, each with their own moment to shine. Throughout its Broadway run, the musical received a show-stopping standing ovation from audiences... in the beginning of the first act! It’s become clear that “nothing’s as amazing as a musical,” so don’t miss your chance to be a part of this history-twisting tale! Additional info: Rehearsals begin Sat, March 29. Typically 5 days a week, a mix of weeknights and weekends, depending on cast majority preference. Staggered calls, actors are only called when they are needed. Excessive conflicts will greatly affect casting. Tech begins Saturday, May 3. Show dates: May 9-25, Fri- Sun 1st two weekends, Thurs- Sun 3rd weekend. If you are interested, please apply.

Soprano with some lower range. A quirky naive Puritan young lady who loves poetry against her father’s wishes. Falls in love with Nigel. Comedic actor, 2 solos plus chorus numbers.

Tenor or High Baritone. A soothsayer who almost sees the future correctly. Comedic actor who sings and moves well, some basic tap dancing. 1 solo plus chorus numbers and scenes.

Tenor or high baritone. A renaissance rock star, Classic Tom Jones/Mick Jagger performer. Comedic Actor with a pop/rock voice style and swagger. 2 solos plus chorus numbers, moves well, some basic tap dancing. Disguises as Toby Belch in Nick’s theatre troupe.
