About the project: The Last Call is a psychological drama set in a mysterious afterlife bar. Jake, a man haunted by his tragic past, finds himself in the Afterlife Bar, a place where souls are judged based on their earthly actions. Guided by Gabriel, a charismatic but enigmatic bartender, Jake must confront his guilt and the loss of his beloved Sarah, whom he accidentally killed during a drunken argument. Together, Jake and Sarah face a series of trials that will determine their eternal fate—punishment, peace, or redemption. The film delves into themes of guilt, forgiveness, and the human capacity for compassion in the darkest of circumstances. Rate: Unpaid, non-union student film.
