Nathan Detroit bets high-rolling gambler Sky Masterson that Sky cannot persuade Save-A-Soul Missionary Sister Sarah Brown to accompany him on a trip to Cuba. While the worldly Sky works his charms on a wary Sarah, Nathan is doing his best to stay outside the matrimonial clutches of his long-suffering fiancée, Miss Adelaide. “Guys and Dolls” is a fable about what happens to gambling men and the women who long to tame them. Set in the colorful world of New York City in the mid 20th century, the romantic and funny “Guys And Dolls” is populated with gangsters and gamblers, missionary dolls and scantily clad showgirls, and is one of the great musical scores in the history of American theatre. Rate: Actors are paid $45 per performance with a $100 travel stipend. Additional info: TO PREPARE: 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. BRING WITH YOU: sheet music, headshot, resume. CALLBACKS: Monday, October 28th (6:00 pm-10:30 pm). REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin Monday, December 9th and will likely be Sunday through Thursday Evenings from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm with tech rehearsals the the entire week before opening, including Saturday, February 8th and Sunday, February 9th. Please note that there will be a break in rehearsal during the holidays. PERFORMANCES: Guys and Dolls will run from February 14th through March 23rd, 2025 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. If you are interested, please apply.

Male presenting, B5-D4: Just like his name suggests, he is the nicest and cheeriest of the gambling crooks. High-spirited and a bit naïve, but sincere and genuine. Nathan’s loyal friend and lackey.
Male presenting, G5-D4: Nathan’s right-hand man and a gambler himself. Smart, slick, always moving and shaking, but with what he thinks are Nathan’s best interest at heart.
Female presenting, G5-B3: A pretty, bright-eyed woman who serves as Sergeant of the local Mission. Idealistic, sheltered, and straightlaced, she is passionate about her cause and wishes to convert the gambling sinners to saints. Falls unexpectedly in love with gambler Sky Masterson along the way.
Male presenting, Baritone, 60+ : Sarah’s grandfather and significant member of the Salvation Army mission. Wise, warm and caring.
Male presenting, G5-F3: A crook and gambler. He is a tough guy with dollar signs as his bottom line. Brings Big Jule into Nathan’s craps game and backs his cheating, but is also a man of his word in the gambling community.
Male presenting, Non-singing role: A New York police officer who is on to Nathan’s illegal craps gamesand is dead-set on catching him. A tough, no-nonsense character.
Male presenting, F5-D4: A good-hearted gambler and craps game organizer who could never hit the bigtime. He loves Adelaide, but cannot quit his gambling ways. A broke schemer with unwitting ways.
Female presenting, F5 – A3: Nathan’s fiancé and a lead performer at the Hot Box nightclub. She loves Nathan more than anything in the world and desperately wants to get married. Pretty, outspoken, stubborn.
Male presenting, E5-B3: A high-stakes gambler whose luck never seems to run out,and a wild card who surprises himself when he falls in love with missionary Sarah Brown. Suave, smart, handsome.
Male presenting, G5-F3: A big time craps player from Chicago who uses a gun and his own pair of rigged dice to bully his way into never losing. Tough looking. A bit of an oaf.
