11 roles

Julie Dulk (née Wilkerson - changed from Wilkovsky)Female30-49 y.o.All ethnicities

The wife of the vice president of Cantilever inc. Mother to a darling baby and two rambunctious teens. She is navigating how to build and maintain a household while also discovering and understanding this new and challenging magical world. She has a white-bread suburban background but deep inside there's a yen to lose herself in the unknown. Studied French in school. Knowledge of French a plus. "THE IRREPRESSIBLE MAGIC OF THE TROPICS"

John C. Dulk Jr. (Jiminy)Male20-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Newborn Son of the Vice President of Cantilever inc. As a baby. A baby. As a grown man, an all-american boy with a fair helping of Biff/Happy, he has a clarity and elegance to his thought but also has never had to inherit either the full anglo-protestant schtick, or really the hardship of the tropics. He lives in between – sort of like the white-savior (Avatar, Dances with Wolves etc etc). "THE IRREPRESSIBLE MAGIC OF THE TROPICS"

Victoria DulkFemale20-29 y.o.All ethnicities

She is the teenage daughter of Carina and John. The very literal golden child. Her hair won't stop growing. She has an angelic demeanor, but also has that kind of brutality and viscerality that comes with the overly innocent. Her innocence does not translate to her relationship with her sister where she is just as conniving and competitive. "THE IRREPRESSIBLE MAGIC OF THE TROPICS"

Gloria DulkFemale20-29 y.o.All ethnicities

The twin sister of Victoria. She is the odd-sister out. Losing her hair. She's a lot more vocal - mostly to get heard but it never works. Very intelligent, but first she has to get out of her way and her emotions. She understands more than most characters. "THE IRREPRESSIBLE MAGIC OF THE TROPICS"

Multi-Character 1Female30-49 y.o.Latino / Hispanic

Pandolfa: the nanny/revolutionary spy. Doña Certeza: The nurse – very grounded and aware of everything. Irma Estancia: Second in command for the guerillas, lots of common-sense. Soon becomes fluent in French/German. Pantulfa: the suddenly grown daughter of Pandolfa. Has Pandolfa's motherly instinct. Fluent/native speaker in Spanish a plus. Knowledge of French/German is a plus. "THE IRREPRESSIBLE MAGIC OF THE TROPICS"

Multi-Character 2Male40-59 y.o.Latino / Hispanic

Don Elitorio: the architect. Lausano: the steward – also wise but has a bit more understanding of the legends. Permite Dulzón: the factory manager, a laughable man. Gavioto Cantimpalo: the young love-struck priest. Clemente Caudillo: the head of the guerillas, he is stern, a bit less responsible than his second in command. Gurnacha: the healer, old lover of Pandolfa, and burgeoning capitalist. Fluent/native speaker in Spanish a plus. "THE IRREPRESSIBLE MAGIC OF THE TROPICS"
