About the project: "You Never Chose Us": Two estranged childhood friends are reunited years later at a wedding and spend an evening revisiting a painful but pivotal relationship that shaped them into adults. "Thief of Joy": After failing to sell enough albums to pay rent, a struggling musician mistakenly encounters an international pop star with her own hidden struggles. "There is Nothing Chasing You": Luc and Eden are past their honeymoon phase and struggling to cope with previously hidden issues. "Dissonance": An estranged couple in their 20s meets again for the first time after a year of being apart, they must seek answers to understand why everything fell apart. "Confessions": A bartender's routine night takes a dark turn when a mysterious patron arrives, stirring up buried emotions and old regrets. As secrets surface, the bartender is pushed to his limits, grappling with decisions that could change his life forever. "One Drive": Parker has just gotten an opportunity at a job that he can prove himself. Unfortunately, the first day doesn’t go as planned. "A Film by Selah Pawlak" "Owls": A young man wakes up in a warehouse with his hands tied and a black sheet over his head. When he sees his boss sitting across from him, he gets hit with a series of questions regarding a substantial amount of money that was stolen. "Solving for X": A student completing a math problem begins to visualize the equation as a soap opera to fight boredom, but the story escalates out of hand. "A Bear! Or Something": A woman answers a call for help, it being her job and all. "Doorways": A woman stumbles into a crumbling house and must gain the trust of a small boy she finds there to save him from impending doom. "Avoidant": When a socially anxious shut-in meets up with his online crush, he is forced to confront his own fears and anxieties lest he ruins his chance at a relationship. "The Paradox": After discovering she can communicate with alternate versions of herself, a young woman will try everything possible to save her failing bakery’. "Tits and Time": While sitting under the dome dryers at a hair salon, two crude older women argue with a younger college student about whose stage of life is worse. "Are You Paying Attention?"
