About the project: "Godspell" is a musical based on the Gospels of the Christian Bible, primarily the Book of Matthew. It tells the story of Jesus through parables interspersed with modern music and lyrics inspired by traditional hymns. The first act showcases Jesus' teachings and the community that forms around him, while Act Two focuses on his betrayal and crucifixion, ending with his followers carrying forth his message of love and justice. Additional info: REHEARSALS: Sundays: 1:00 - 4:00 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 7:00 pm PERFORMANCE DATES: January 23 – February 2 Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays: 7:30 pm Sundays: 2:00 pm You MUST be available for all performance dates.
