The company is holding auditions for "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live" Radio Play and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY brings to life the beloved holiday movie as it would have been presented on the radio in the 1940’s – with sound effects performed live onstage as a small group of “film stars” perform a myriad of characters in front of the microphones. It’s a wonderfully ‘retro’ experience for the whole family. Rate: There is no pay for this production. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. A resume and headshot are not required, but they are recommended for those who have not auditioned at this theater before. Rehearsals will generally be Monday through Thursday, at 7 pm, tentatively starting October 14. Performance Dates: December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 at 8 pm; December 8, 14, 15, 21, 22 @ 2:30 pm.

Respected character actor. He plays the roles of Gower, Potter, Billy, Joseph, Peter Bailey, Ernie, Old Man Collins, Ed, Pete, Man at Martini’s, Nick, Bridge Keeper, Binky, and Cop
Popular leading man. He plays George Bailey, and Young George.
Popular leading lady. She plays Mary Hatch, and Young Mary.
Respected character actor. She plays Violet, Young Violet, Rose Bailey, Matilda, Ruth, Mrs. Hatch, Mrs. Thompson, Schultz, Zuzu, Janie, Sadie Vance
Less respected, but hardworking character actor. He plays Harry, Young Harry, Bert, Clarence, Sam Wainwright, Martini, Dr. Campbell, Charlie, Man at Bank, Horace the Teller, Mr. Welch, Tommy, Sheriff
This actor is NOT the actual stage manager for the production, but will be PLAYING the radio show stage manager, and will also be the main foley (sound effects) person.
