Kinan has had a hard time coming out to his family. He deals with his form of redemption by finding Gabriel again to discover why they fell apart. He is open to his family now, and they, of course, were iffy about his coming out but never accepted him in a "you're our son" kind of way and nothing more. He is a drifter and a bit of a failed son. He is also very proud and open about his queerness but is also closed-minded about other expressions of queerness

Someone confident yet also conflicted/confused about their sexuality is a very strong-willed and determined person willing to do anything for themselves. Growing up in a single-father household and being a rancher, he had to help pay for rent and food, which was a lot for him to cover as a teenager. Once he had enough funds, he started to go into other businesses, such as sex work, to make ends meet, but from this work. He is a very closed person who is often a bit self-destructive.

As a kid, you were curious about working at bars, and since you, Kinan, and Gabriel grew into curious people, you uncovered more about this world. Soon, you started liking the drag scene, which you would get glimpses of when going into San Francisco and San Jose with Gabe and Kinan. You three grew up together, and you bonded with Kinan as you both came in with 1st Gen Parents and the teachings that came with that.

You're a young and dumb kid who took this job from your father's friend, needing someone to replace his career on the ranch. You signed up and found friends with Gabriel but are clueless and intrigued with what to do since it's your first time. Gabriel has been doing this job for a year and knows the ropes. You also have a regular class schedule and keep up on classwork while being busy on the ranch and hanging with friends.

This hurt led you to accept your son again slowly, but you are saddened every day that your conversations are not the same as they used to be.

You are very adventurous even though your parents always hated that about you, always riding around with Kinan and Gabriel like they were family to you, especially Kinan. You have been wondering about being more expressive about your sexuality and want to perform in drag but don't have the right environment to bring that out.
