As Skyler navigates her dreams, she discovers a dark malevolent force lurking beneath the surface, shining a light on a truth she's been avoiding. A'tale of grief and guilt with blurred lines between dreams and reality, culminating in a terrifying confrontation that's been following her for some time. Rate: Non-union or union actors. Unpaid. LEAD. Haunted by guilt over her best friend Danny's death, Skyler's dreams blur the line between memory and nightmare, forcing her to confront unresolved grief and trauma. She is introspective and emotionally guarded, yearning for closure while battling feelings of inadequacy.
SUPPORTING. Skyler's late best friend, whose presence in dreams shifts from nostalgic companionship to a symbol of Skyler's guilt. Danny embodies the emotional weight of unresolved pain, her fate serving as a constant reminder of Skyler's failure to help her.
Antagonist. Ms. Roberts is a loving grandmother who looks after Skyler following the passing of her daughter, Danny's mother. The hardened Ms. Roberts is a malevolent presence, subtly and overtly taunting Skyler with her knowledge of the past and the burden of guilt Skyler carries. She controls the figure and uses it to haunt Skyler's dreams.
Skyler's supportive roommate, and the third to Danny and Skyler's trio. who offers emotional stability and tries to help her process Danny's death. She is caring, not fully understanding the depth of Skyler's internal struggle.
It symbolizes the culmination of Skyler's fears, guilt, and the burden of Danny's fate. It is tied to the old crone and serves as an enforcer of the haunting reality Skyler is trying to escape from.
