Men and Women Needed for Music Video Audition
Looking to cast actors for a music video about coming out as queer later in life. Check the details provided below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The video will feature a progression of relationships between Actor 1 and the other actors. Actor 1 will have additional scenes involving physically searching through boxes/items and searching for a way out of a room. All actors will be involved in a group scene with the band in a “basement show” setting. Additional info: The shoot date will be 21 September 2024 on Madison’s east side, from 10:30 am to 7 pm. Male/masc-presenting. Actor 1 is the lead/protagonist of the video and will be present throughout. The character is representative of the narrative voice in the song, searching for self-acceptance amidst intolerant external forces. Must be comfortable being physically intimate (hugging, hand holding, possible kissing) with actors of any gender presentation.
Male/masc-presenting. Actor 2 serves to illustrate the queer awakening of Actor 1 by portrayal of relationship. Must be comfortable being physically intimate (hugging, hand holding, possible kissing) with Actor 1.
Female/fem-presenting. Actor 3 serves to illustrate a heteronormative passing relationship with Actor 1 by portrayal of the relationship. Must be comfortable being physically intimate (hugging, hand holding, possible kissing) with Actor 1.
Androgynous/Non-Binary/Agender presenting. Actor 4 serves to celebrate the non-binary dimension of attraction by their relationship with Actor 1. Must be comfortable being physically intimate (hugging, hand holding, possible kissing) with Actor 1.
