"A Long Way From the Ziggurat" Film Seeks Actors

About the project: When mild-mannered broadband internet salesman, Dan fails to make yet another sale, he is harassed and bullied by his boss and coworkers for his low performance, his confidence takes a hit. Head held low he walks home through a dark alleyway at night, seemingly oblivious to the dangers that lurk around. He comes across a strange idol in the trash that begins talking to him and showing him visions. Dan takes the idol home, where supernatural events surrounding the object make him investigate it further. A horrifying horned demon appears before Dan, terrifying him, but the creature speaks to him and learns that is an ancient Babylonian blood god called Zabuthu, who begins promising him dark power to help him sell more internet. Dan decides to take Zabuthu to work with him to see if his claims are true and begins his usual routine of calling the elderly and when it inevitably begins to fall apart Zabuthu uses dark magic to subjugate the old man into buying a much more premium package than he needs too. After getting what he wants Dan hangs up, confidence renewed he seeks revenge against his coworkers. Rate: Non-Union. Pale Nervous, pathetic, unfulfilled Slim/Scrawny build Big eyes if possible A timid, unsuccessful, yet empathetic telemarketer who is desperate to impress his father who also happens to be his boss. Though he has a good heart, his constant failure might lead him to leave his moral compass behind.
6 foot and above, thin. Not a speaking role, you will be wearing a costume and doing strange movements.
Pale Confident, sleezy, unempathetic Well built, either fit or heavy Well put together Dan’s father, an unfeeling prick who only cares about results. He wants nothing to do with Dan unless he picks up his sales.
Insufferable, aggressive Well built, big or heavy, beard probably, manly, kind of gross Mike is a succesful salesman, while being the most insufferable person one can meet. He is loud and intolerable, and will do anything to maintain his sales success.
A sweet, elderly, lonely lady who wants nothing more than to simply have companionship.
Additional Character. A kind old man who is content with his own company, he is happy in his retirement.
