Additional information: As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our content strategy, enhancing the digital presence, and driving engagement across all platforms. Your creativity, strategic insight, and hands-on approach will directly support the companies mission of improving lifelong health with real-time hormonal insights. You’re passionate about the role of hormones in various aspects of health for all genders and how data and technology can drive personalized health improvements, and you’re excited to share this vision. About the role: This is a full-time 6-month contract to start, with a high likelihood of transitioning to a full-time permanent role. You’ll be at the forefront of growing and nurturing a community, supporting the growth of a pioneering company shaping the future of at-home health. While our HQ and the role are based in Montréal, the audience will be mostly in the US and distributed globally. The starting date is as soon as possible. Key responsibilities: Create and publish social content (text, images, and videos) that engages audiences and reflects the core themes such as hormonal health and data-driven wellness. Populate the social media calendar for all major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) with content aligned with the mission, brand goals and key news. Collaborate with the medical advisors to create engaging social media campaigns with accurate information. Write compelling captions that engage the followers. Adapt the tone and perspective for each platform. Coordinate partnerships with likeminded influencers and content creators. Adapt existing content using tools like Figma and video editing software to fit platform-specific styles and trends. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and innovations in health and wellness, continuously optimizing the strategy for maximum impact. Build the online community and foster conversations around topics like hormone health, lifestyle changes for better wellness, and long-term health improvement. Actively engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages. Address inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring all questions are answered. Monitor and analyze social media analytics to derive insights and refine our strategy accordingly. Develop and manage the company community, which is composed of people interested in the role of hormones in various aspects of health and in leveraging data to optimize health. Qualifications: English speaker and writer, with excellent copywriting skills. Demonstrated experience in Community Management with a proven ability to build and engage online communities. Proficient with Figma or other design tools, video creation and editing software, social media tools, and social performance analysis. Based in Montréal and able to create content in person, including pictures and videos for social media platforms. Passionate about hormonal health (for both women and men), data-driven health improvement, lifestyle changes for better wellness, and emerging healthcare trends such as longevity and precision health. Experience with communicating complex health and wellness topics to an online audience is a bonus. If you're interested, please apply.
