Molly is a young woman grappling with grief, betrayal, and anger. Despite her sorrow, she continues to uphold the image of her late fiancé as the Goldboy until it bursts forth in a climactic toast. Actor will use prop cigarettes (Herbal blend). LEAD
Emma is confident, self-assured, and with a touch of melancholy, Emma was the “other woman” in the protagonist’s boyfriend’s life. She’s caught between her guilt and a desire to confront the truth and tries to push Molly to tell the family that Molly’s former boyfriend was having an affair and popping pills. This role requires smoking. Actor will use prop cigarettes (Herbal blend). LEAD
The mother of Molly’s late boyfriend, Barb is outwardly composed, but her grief manifests in subtle, sometimes backhanded ways. She’s protective of her son’s memory and has a solid relationship with Molly, whom she sees as a future daughter-in-law that never was. SUPPORTING
Richard is the father of Molly’s late boyfriend, a stoic and reserved figure who struggles to reconcile his son’s death with the image of the “Golden Boy” he raised. He remains largely in the background, a silent observer of the unfolding drama. MINOR SUPPORTING
